THE CRAIGHOUSE SQUARE MURDERS – talk by Franzeska Ewart

The tragic story of Joseph Calabrese, who, in 1904, murdered his wife and 4 children at their house in Craighouse Square, Kilbirnie will be the subject of tonight’s talk by Franzeska Ewart, who has written a book “Brenda Bell and the Kilbirnie Tragedy” based on the event. Come along and hear about the murders and the writing of the book.
The talk is free to members of Beith Cultural & Heritage Society; admission is £2 to non members.
This will be in the upstairs Court room so anyone attending needs to be aware there is no lift.
